The Mystery Vinyl Co. wasn't built in a warehouse. It started at our kitchen table.

 

In a world dominated by algorithms and perfect digital playlists, we missed the ritual. The weight of the jacket, the artwork you can get lost in, and the "needle drop" moment that changes the room.

 

We believe that music sounds better when it has history. That is why we don't just order bulk wholesale pallets. Every record in our mystery boxes is hand-selected from our private archive of thousands of vintage pressings plus the occasional new one, cultivated over decades of digging, collecting, and listening.

We believe that a mystery box should be a discovery, not a gamble. To ensure every box contains a genuine piece of history, we source our inventory through high-stakes specialist vinyl auctions and the acquisition of exclusive private collections. We look for the 'untouched' archives, those well-maintained personal libraries that haven't seen the light of day in decades. By competing for the same rare pressings found in top-tier auction houses, we can guarantee our members access to iconic labels and early or even first pressings that are often are hidden from the general public.
